PAL's 60th Annual Brotherhood/Sisterhood Art Contest 2008
Affirmation Arts is proud to announce that New York's Police Athletic League will hold an exhibition for their annual art contest in our gallery on Febraury 20 from 6 PM-8 PM.
This art contest is timed to coincide with Brotherhood/Sisterhood Week (the 3rd week in February) begun in 1934 by the National Conference for Community and Justice (NCCJ). It's goal is to address the question of how diverse peoples can live tolerantly and cooperatively with each other in multicultural societies. This year's theme is "We Are Family".
